Heating the joint a bit longer usually helps. Make sure your flame isn’t too aggressive, it can overheat the pipe. What torch are you using?
When sweating copper pipes, I’ve found that using a flux that’s a bit more aggressive really helps prevent leaks. Just make sure to avoid overheating the pipe; you want to see a nice, even flow of solder. What torch are you currently working with?
One thing that really helped me was using a heat sink on the other side of the joint. It draws out some heat and can help with preventing the pipe from warping while you wait for that ‘even flow of solder.’ What torch are you currently using?
