Oddest gas inspection fail you’ve seen

Had an inspector red-tag a brand-new CSST run because the shutoff wasn’t “readily accessible” from the appliance side and the bonding clamp was past the termination; relocating the valve within reach and bonding upstream cleared it and kept the pressure test clean. What other obscure gas code gotchas have you hit, and a tiny habit that’s saved me is tagging the shutoff with the test date and permit number so nobody cracks a cap before the meter’s live.
