Water heater blues and laughs

Had a customer the other day whose water heater went on strike right in the middle of her son’s birthday party. You could hear the kids laughing in the background while I was battling with that stubborn tank. Nothing like showering a bunch of soaked balloons with hot water fixes to lighten the mood.

Sounds like a party to remember! I once had a similar mishap, but I brought a spare water heater on a job — just in case. Ever thought about keeping a backup handy for emergencies?

And had a similar situation once during a family gathering. I ended up filling the kids’ pool with warm water from the hose to buy myself some time. It was chaos, but the kids loved it.
